COACHING SUCCESS NEEDS CLIENT COMMITMENT
I often use the analogy of a personal trainer when I analyse the factors affecting business coaching success. Here’s a story we can all relate
Businesses that are getting stale and have lost their drive to innovate. These businesses keep doing the same things but expect a different result. Through coaching, businesses can break through to the next level.
Businesses that have grown too quickly are often successful despite themselves. The team is stretched, struggling to deliver, and they need to put systems and processes in place to ensure sustainable growth.
Start-up businesses that have the financial backing to implement best practice from the outset are more likely to succeed. Coaching is an investment in the business to ensure that you don’t need to reinvent the wheel down the line.
Businesses where the financial statements show profit, but there is no money in the bank. These businesses are experiencing cash flow issues, and need a solution to manage income, expenses and behaviours.
Businesses that are entering new, uncharted territories and markets, or being taken over by different owners, investors or management. The stress of the ”unknown” can be alleviated with a focused action plan and goals.
Businesses that are structured in silos with people who do their own thing and don’t communicate with each other. Coaching helps identify a common vision and mission, company culture and values and a plan of action to achieve agreed goals.
If you are not growing, you are dying. To grow, you need to learn, but you don’t know where to begin. Let your coach work with you to identify your growth areas and point you in the right direction.
You know what you want, you have confidence in your ability and now you need to take action to achieve it. You can’t do it on your own and need an independent sounding board to keep you on the path to success.
Business owners who have been doing the same thing for a long time often lose their passion for their business. We work with these owners to reignite personal dreams and use their businesses to achieve their goals.
Business owners often end up with a day to day “job” in their own business. We work with business owners to build a team and put systems in place to run your business without you.
There doesn’t seem to be enough time in a day to get through all the work, and you are not banking nearly enough money to justify your efforts. We will get you focused on making more productive and profitable use of your time.
Your friends and family are supportive, but you need someone to mentor you, hold you accountable, hold up a mirror to your blind spots, be a sounding board, push you, cajole you and congratulate you.
